|
Throatripper Level: 5 Type: wolf
Compare sizes | |
Alb Old Lands Black Mts. South: 7k, 52k
Throatripper is the lowest trophy mob in Albion. He spawns every night, so he's easy to get. This website used to tell people that if you don't see him, you should trigger his spawn by killing large black wolves in his vicinity. Unfortunately, Mythic raised the levels of those mobs in spring of 2005 but left Throatripper unchanged, so this can be difficult. Directions: From the north gate of Camelot Castle, go left to Vetusta Abbey and then head northwest toward the west zone wall. Throatripper is located in the valley with the dwarf raiders. Optional: The Ripper quest, given by Lieutenant Jursen at the nearby guard tower (location 6, 60), requires you to kill Throatripper. Potion: minor mammalogy. |

|
Snarls Level: 7 Type: wolf
Compare sizes | |
Mid Old Lands East Svealand: 39k, 14k
Snarls prowls back and forth near the house of escaped thralls west of Vasudheim. She usually has two or three lupine snarlers with her, but she herself is not a lupine snarler she's a bit larger. The trick to making her spawn is to kill all the mobs in her spawn group including the ones swimming in the water southwest of the penninsula on which the thrall house stands. You may have to go out in the water yourself to spot all the submerged mobs. Usually this makes her spawn within a few minutes, but sometimes her spawn mechanism seems to get blocked and you need to kill mobs for a longer time. When you attack her, she may call as many as five lupine snarlers to help her. Snarls and her helpers are level seven. After she spawns, Snarls stalks back and forth between 37, 13 and 44, 10. Directions: From Vasudheim, walk northwest on the road. At the intersection with the stone marker that points to Mularn and W. Svealand, turn left (southwest). As you walk along that road, you will see the house of escaped thralls to your left. Snarls is found on the land between you and the house. (Before Mythic changed levels of starter mobs in spring 2005, Snarls was level three.) Potion: minor mammalogy. |
|
|
Spat Level: 8 Type: lion
Compare sizes | |
Mid Old Lands Vale of Mularn: 35k, 39k
Spat is a small hill cat. He's found on the mountain at the center of the zone. To make him spawn, kill small hill cats in his area. Directions: From the village of Mularn, follow the road west. At the stone marker, turn right and follow the road north toward Haggerfel. When you are halfway between the marker and the fort near Haggerfel, climb the mountain on the west (left) side of the road. Potion: minor mammalogy. |
|
|
Hrrgyf Level: 10 Type: lion
Compare sizes | |
Mid Old Lands Vale of Mularn: 10k, 25k
Hrrgyf turns into a medium-sized lion trophy. He spawns at the hill cat camp on the mountain ridge near the entrance to DF. Directions: From Svasud Faste, walk south along the western (right-hand) shore of the lake. As you walk, there will be a mountain ridge on your right. When you reach the end of the ridge, at the end of the lake, climb up onto it. The whole ridge is covered with hill cats; Hrrgyf spawns among them. The south end, where you are now standing, is the safest place to begin pulling. Optional: The Monstrous Beast quest, given by Vik (24, 56), requires you to kill Hrrgyf. Potion: minor mammalogy. |
|
|
Morty Level: 10 Type: frog
Compare sizes | |
Hib Old Lands Lough Dergh: 23k, 22k
Morty is a rare spawn in a hill toad camp near Mag Mell. Directions: From Mag Mell, walk south a short distance. If you go straight south, the camp will be on a hillside on your right. The camp is located between the blackthorn grove and the nipper grove. If you come to Murdagh, you've gone too far. Potion: minor herpetology. |

Compare sizes | |
Alb Old Lands Black Mts. North: 11k, 39k
Sgt. Cosworth spawns continuously in a graveyard due west of Snowdonia Station. The graveyard is on a hill behind a screen of trees. Cosworth's buddy, Sir Gerenth, spawns near him in the same graveyard. Both these skeletons panic easily and call for help when they get down to two-thirds health. Mid Old Lands Vale of Mularn: 25k, 23k
Prugor runs back and forth between vendo villages in the Vale of Mularn. See this page for a map and details. Occasionally he joins Rathis's four-vendo posse, which makes the same circuit between villages, but usually Prugor travels alone. You can wait for him along his route or near one of the villages at 26k, 13k and 25k, 23k. He respawns quickly after dying and completes a trip between villages every few minutes. He turns into an attractive large trophy with detailed features. Directions: From Svasud Faste, walk along the left (east) shore of the lake until you come to one of the vendo villages. Prugor will show up there within ten minutes at the most. Potion: lesser mammalogy. |

|
Martley Level: 11 Type: drakoran
Alb SI Isle of Glass: 5k, 28.6k
Martley turns into a small wall-mount trophy with tusks, horns, and a dragonish face. He was moved temporarily to a new location in early 2006 but he's now back in his original spot inside a tent on the beach. Directions: From Gothwaite Harbor, walk west along the shore as far as you can; then go north along the beach until you reach a tent that stands by itself. The tent has a campfire in front of it on the north side. (Prior to version 1.79, Martley spawned only if you were doing the level-11 epic quest for certain classes. That epic quest can no longer be obtained. Now, all classes can kill Martley without getting a quest.) Potion: lesser herpetology. |
|

The boat is near the housing zone entrance. |
|
|
Ibicus Level: 12 Type: lizard
Compare sizes | |
Mid SI Aegir Landing: 39k, 36k
Ibicus turns into one of the largest floor trophies in the game, a sort of giant whitish floor-mounted iguana. He spawns alone; there is no camp of similar mobs. Directions: From the bridge on the west side of Aegirhamn, follow the river north a short distance to the next bridge. Ibicus usually spawns in the river just south of the second bridge, but sometimes he appears nearby. Potion: lesser herpetology. |
|
|
Jari Level: 12 Type: boar
Compare sizes | |
Alb Old Lands Black Mts. South: see text
Jari is a rare mob. He can pop in either of two places: the pig herd near Vetusta Abbey (location 18k, 57k), or the valley west of there near the dwarf bandits (7k, 51k). When he's alive in one place he probably can't appear in the other, so be sure to search both. When you search the valley, explore a wide area. Directions: From the north gate of Camelot Castle, go west to Vetusta Abbey. To reach the valley, head northwest from there toward the west zone wall. Potion: minor mammalogy. |
|
|
Veviel Level: 13 Type: single pixie
Alb Old Lands Salisbury Plains: 48k, 42k
Veviel turns into a trophy board with a single green pixie on it. She's located in a grove of trees in southeastern Salisbury Plains. The other grove nymphs in her camp are neutral but be careful because they will aggro you when you attack her, and they are much higher in level (18 - 20) than she is. Just before she dies she calls for help. After Veviel dies, she usually respawns within a minute or two. (It used to be possible to pull Veviel away from her camp without drawing the other grove nymphs with her. This made the encounter interesting and doable by solo toons, but unfortunately you can no longer do this. Her calls for help are part of the original design of the encounter; they are now pointless because her guards are always with her.) Potion: lesser avian. |
|
|
Queen Major Level: 14 Type: ant
Compare sizes | |
Mid Old Lands East Svealand: 20k, 52k
Queen Major turns into a large floor trophy. Kill the non-named ants at her camp to make her pop. You may have to do this for hours; she's a rare spawn. Directions: The ant camp is on a dirt patch next to the road between Dvalin and Auditlen. If you walk from Auditlen, the camp will be on your right side shortly after you pass the rope bridge. If you come from Dvalin, the camp will be on your left side soon after you pass the fort. (Before Mythic changed levels of starter mobs in spring 2005, Queen Major was level 10.) Potion: minor carnivorous. |

Compare sizes | |
Hib Old Lands Lough Derg: 61k, 40k

|
|
Kalnraw Level: 16 Type: lion
Compare sizes | |
Alb Old Lands Cornwall: 53k, 19k
Kalnraw spawns about halfway between Cornwall Station and the Ghostly Church to the northwest. You can make him pop by killing bears, wolves, and frogs. He's the only lion in his area; he spawns far to the east of the forest cats. Kalnraw's level hasn't changed since the early days of the game even though Mythic raised the levels of other mobs in his area to 30 and higher in spring 2005. This means that Kalnraw is gray to any toon that can clear his area and force his spawn. As a result, you'll need at least two toons of different levels to obtain his remains. Directions: From Cornwall Station, walk a short distance northwest. Potion: lesser mammalogy. |
|
|
Glare Level: 16 Type: single pixie
Hib Old Lands Bri Leith: Caille

You don't have to kill anything to make him pop. Directions: From the north gate of Tir na Nog, follow the road to the left (west). The road takes you into Cliffs of Moher. When you come to the fork in the road, go left (northwest). Shortly after you pass the fork, leave the road and go straight west toward the field of rock sheeries and summoned urdrocks. Potion: lesser avian. |

|
Sentry Incin Level: 21 Type: skeleton
Compare sizes | |
Mid Old Lands Muspelheim: 37k, 48k
Sentry Incin is a rare spawn at the Shade of Gunnar camp in Muspelheim. There are more than a dozen skeletons of various types at the camp ranging in level from 21 to about 30. If you keep killing the burnt skeletal sentries (level 21-22), Incin will eventually spawn in place of one of them. He gives a nice axe as a one-time drop. Directions: From the entrance to Muspelheim, go straight ahead (east). When you come to the first valley, go right to the bridge and cross it. After the bridge, continue straight ahead and cross the second bridge. After the second bridge, you'll be facing a mountain. Walk on the mountainside toward the southeast, keeping the mountain on your left. Circle the mountain. The camp is on the mountainside about half way around. Potion: lesser carnivorous. |
|
|
Oldest Level: 22 Type: cockatrice
Compare sizes | |
Alb Old Lands Salisbury Plains: see text
Oldest is the largest cockatrice trophy in the game. He looks like a ferocious chicken with a tapered, scaly tail. Oldest is found in southeast Salisbury Plains. It is impossible to give an exact location for him because the server puts his roam area in a different place each time he spawns. This is true of many trophy mobs, but the variation is unusually pronounced with Oldest. In order to be sure of seeing him, you must examine an enormous circular area which is approximately 20,000 units in diameter. The center of this area is at 45, 47. For more details and a map, click here. Potion: lesser avian. |
|
|
Hondrund Level: 23 Type: cat
Compare sizes | |
Hib Old Lands Silvermine Mts.: 36.5k, 48k
Hondrund is a rare spawn that turns into a beautiful light gray floor trophy resembling a lynx. Hondrund stands alone on his part of the hill; there are no other mobs near him. Directions: From Howth, go south along the lake to the bridge and cross it to the east. Then follow the shore north until you come to the hill that forms a long section of the eastern shore. Hondrund is on the south end of that hill. If you reach the sheevra swordsmen and skirmishers on the shore, you have gone a little too far; turn right to the hill and follow it back south a few steps to where it begins. Potion: lesser mammalogy. |

Fire Ant Frendrat is the only mob we know of that wanders back and forth between two zones. You'll find him at the north end of the border between Cornwall and Lyonesse near the ocean. He seems to regard the Cornwall side as his home, but he often runs into Lyonesse to fight with hamadryads. He's the only ant in this area; he's not part of a camp. We've seen him as far east as 1, 29 in Cornwall and as far west as 61.5, 29.6 in Lyonesse. He cons green to 50s. You don't have to kill anything to make him pop, so the easiest way to find him is by parking a toon in his area and logging in occasionally to see whether he has spawned. Directions: From the Western Cornwall stable (Yarley's) follow the road northwest to the Lyonesse border; then walk straight north to the ocean. If you haven't passed Frendrat, walk west a little way into Lyonesse (to about 62,000 on the east-west axis) and then south to the road through the hamadryads, making a loop.
